Why I am recommending bluehost

I am a horrible salesman. The main reason for this is that I cannot ever sell anything I don't like or have any questions about. I am also constantly afraid of recommending a product to someone and having them not like it or have some sort of bad experience with it.

So if you ever hear me recommending a product or service, you can be sure I am not doing it lightly. Hosting is no exception. Over the past decade I have had good experiences, not so good experiences and really horrible experiences. I have seen it all (I hope).

As a developer I need reliability and flexibility. Bluehost provides both of these in abundance. I have been with them for about two years and have used them for several other clients. I cannot begin to tell you how well the relationship has worked out. They offer great hosting services (all run on Linux) and wonderful, friendly technical support.

Oh, and don't think you need to be some sort of network engineer or computer geek to use bluehost. They have a control panel that is world renowned for its simple and elegant design yet rich with features for the beginner as well as the expert. What's more, if you find you can't do something, just ask. The bluehost staff is quick to respond. Many times they will simply do the task for you!

So if you are looking for a host, give bluehost a try. If I didn't believe you would like them, I wouldn't recommend them.
